We’ll leave early in the morning to ensure we make the most of our time. Driving around the Bay of Kotor to our first stop for a day, the seaside village of Perast. Perast is a tiny, idyllic village on the breathtaking Bay of Kotor. We will embark on the boat, taking us to the artificial island of “Our Lady of the Rocks”. On the island, we will visit a church and museum. The price of the boat ride is not included in the cost of the tour (approx 5 euros / per person).
After the Perast, You’ll continue to Kotor. On your tour of Kotor, You’ll be guided by a local licensed guide and have all your question’s answered. Enjoy a sightseeing tour and free time to explore on your own. Kotor is famous for its nautical tradition, commercial fleet, and imposing city walls. One must-do thing when you visit Kotor is climbing the city walls to see the bay from above. Starting from the very back of the old town, over 1350 steps lead up the mountain to a fortress at the top. About halfway up, you’ll come to the 16th-century Church of Our Lady of Remedy. This tiny church has a welcoming interior and plenty of steps to collapse after the climb. On the way back, refresh Yourself with cold water, cake, or beer in a local pub.
After departing Kotor but before crossing the border back into Croatia, it’s worth stopping at Budva town. Explore the historical part of Budva by foot on this private tour.
