Croatia, a land of a thousand islands, magical nature, and rich heritage, a place of true inspiration. It is situated between Slovenia on the west, Hungary on the north, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina on the east, and Italy. There are numerous cultural monuments to visit from all historic eras which are scattered around the entire territory. A country of contrasts is what describes Croatia best, because of its natural diversities and many other elements. Rich cultural heritage which is present not only in numerous museums, galleries and churches which are enlisted in UNESCO’s World Heritage List, but also in the fact that Croatia is a magical place on the Mediterranean. Besides Croatia, we will explore Bosnia & Herzegovina’s country. It is one of Europe’s most visually stunning corners. “Bosnia isn’t a war zone anymore”, more than 20 years after the Yugoslav Wars and the Siege of Sarajevo, it’s surprising how many people think Bosnia is still in conflict. The country is most captivating for its East-meets-West surroundings, which has been blended with Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian pasts. Stari Most in Mostar is one of the country’s most identifiable landmarks. In 2010, Sarajevo was nominated as one of the top ten cities to visit in Lonely Planet’s “Best In Travel”.
