Visiting Ston Town
Only an hour’s drive from Dubrovnik lies the Pelješac peninsula, also known as the “Croatian Wine Empire”. This tour offers stunning views and a chance to taste the best local wines. We will drive northwest along the Adriatic coast, passing by the villages of Orašac, Trsteno and Elaphiti islands along the way. Ston is famous for having the longest stone wall in Europe (5.5 km), salt farming, and oyster breeding farms that date back to the Roman times. You will have the opportunity to see the ancient salt pans that were used during the Dubrovnik Republic, where salt is still produced to this day.
Private Oyster Tasting

The Miloš family has been producing grapes and wine in Ponikve for several generations. They use the indigenous variety of Plavac Mali for their production. The price of wine tasting is additional 40 EUR per person.
Lunch (Optional activity)
Finally, you will have free time for lunch in one of the local restaurants (at your own expense). At the seaside promenade in Mali Ston, in the medieval salt storage room, there is a restaurant called “Bota Šare”. Homemade bread, grilled fish, stews, risottos & homemade desserts of this region will impress you and return to the past glorious times of this region.
