Tradition of Olive Oil making on the island Brač

On our itinerary, we visit the “Museum of Olive Oil” where you can witness the traditional process of olive oil production on the beautiful island of Brač. The museum showcases an olive mill, olive press, spindle for tightening press screws, bags, a fireplace for heating the water, and all the traditional tools used for the transport, production and storage of olive oil. You can also buy and taste the locally produced olive oil and other food products inside the museum. The people of Brač take great pride in their oil, so if you wish, olive oil and food tasting can be arranged inside the museum. Visit the Olive Oil Museum for up to 1 hour – additional 10 EUR / per person.
